Grapeshot people are smart. We have PhDs in Artificial Intelligence and Information Retrieval, with a pedigree in providing commercial search solutions since 1992 for a range of international customers. Many of the development team in Cambridge have worked together since the mid 1990s.

Our commercial team comes with a wealth of experience in both traditional and digital media businesses. Our new home is in London's Soho so we can be closer to all our customers.

Search is the new glue of Web 2.0 and modern internet applications. Algorithms load the page and need to search for related content and advertisements. The Grapeshot co-founders in 1992 started Muscat Limited, the first internet search software that powered major sites for BBC, Virgin, Nokia, and NASA, even the website for Her Majesty The Queen.

Grapeshot is the second company started by our founders in 2002. After five years software development, the first large scale deployments of Grapeshot code began in 2006. The past three years have seen numerous installations that satisfy both editorial and advertising needs of our customers.
